Maps of Southern Ireland??

Is it possible to use TomTom 5 navigator software in southern Ireland? I have just been there this past easter and tried my pocket PC with TT Navigator 5. It did not work. Is it because there are really no postcodes in Eire? Or have the Map and Software people forgot that southern Ireland is part of Europe. I possess the software and maps of western europe but they do not appear to include southern Ireland. Is there an upgrade possible from the TomTom people??

Tom Tom has very poor coverage of Ireland, especially southern Ireland - basically just major roads and a few bigger cities only.

I am told that Copilot is much better
