Holder for the new 510/710/910 a security risk?

Oh well thanks lbendlin for trying the desktop base, so I was thinking of maybe being able to screw the TomTom 910 suction holder to a brodit "move it " mount & then to a brodit holder that is designed for my car? Do you think that is possible?

That is certainly possible, you will just need to take care not to produce too long of a lever. Otherwise the vibrations will not be controllable.

I had a note from Brodit today telling me "I’m sorry to say but we are not going to do any holder for this model." - refering to the 710 and 910 models.

This surprises me, but frankly the mount is getting such poor press (& I like the Brodit ones so much) this will push me to getting the One model !!
