Pioneer AVH-P6500 into a Nissan X-TRAIL

Apologies if this is in the wrong section, but I'm new here. I want to have an old, but much enjoyed, Pioneer AVH-P6500 sat nav with DVD player and DAB radio fitted into a New Nissan Xtrail which already has a very basic sat nav fitted as standard (Navteq Birdseye). I'm not bothered about inputting the signal from the Pioneer into the fixed screen as built into the Xtrail, just wondering about the interface arrangements and possibilities?
