Off road software for Palm?(Going to Kenya!)

OK, I have a Palm Tungsten T3 with a Fortuna Clip-on...

I use TT5 quite happily and have done for a while, but I'm now starting to venture further afield and would love some Palm compatible software for off road/tracking etc... I have a license for Mapopolis, Handmap and TT5, TT5 and Mapopolis I can't use for off road, but Handmap I could if I could find the maps I need...

All this is building up to a safari later in the year in Kenya (self-drive & camping), so ideally I would like to be able to get maps for Kenya, or at least the game reserves... I know Handmap has a mapmaker PC based addon (MapIt) and I have the info required for Kenya but can't get to grips with it... any ideas on the best option (or how to build a map!)
