Hi,
im currently running tomtom 5 ver. 5.2 but am experiencing sound problems. For some unknown reason i am unable to hear any of the preset voice navigations ( eg tim and jane) but i can hear voices i have downloaded off the net. Any advice would be arreciated

you cannot use "GO" voices on the smartphone unless they also contain a 16 kHz sampling version. Re-load the voices from the TTMobile CD, or use one of the olde versions.

Iv reloaded and downloaded from the tomtom website but still doesnt work. Where could I get the older versions from?

I'm having a similar, if not identical problem, in that TomTom Mobile 5 v5.2 on my Nokia 7610 works fine but with no voices, either standard or celeb.

Same software works perfectly on my Nokia 6680 with both voices.

Any suggestions appreciated
