I have been using TTN5 for months without problems. On monday I used it coming into work again with no problems.

In the office I switched on my HP2210 and tapped in TT. The 2 wee hands indicated on the bottom bar near active sync location and TT was in the title bar but the whole system froze.

Can anyone adise please?

Cheers

Steuart

Did you leave the application running in the background? If you do not use the Exit Application button the software runs in the background and can cause your program to hang or become corrupt.

Start, settings, system, memory, running programs

Take the memory card out, do a soft reset (turn the PDA over below the battery cover on the left hand side you will see there is a small hole, press this in to reboot the PDA.
Once you are back into Windows, insert the memory card and run tomtom again.

Hi Steve

I had used the TT software to log out of the application.

I did try your fix earlier today with no success.

I need the TT for work tomorrow so I did a hard reset and installing it all again now.

Many thanks and regards

Steuart

If it still hangs after reinstall, try removing the sd-card and starting navigator. If it starts up without the SD-card (giving you a "No Maps found" error), then the SD-card is the culprit.
