Help Can i access Simple guidance for my i3

Hi there
i am really struggling at the technical level
Please can someone either point out some easy to follow guidance in updating the software on my i3 updating out of date \camera database (Paid the fee)
How can i import waypoints from GPS V into I3
Any other such helpful stuff I live in Farnborough Hants and willing to travel or buy beer etc
