Tom Tom 5 mobile P910 - adding maps?

I searched the forum but can't find specific advice for adding new maps?

I have a Portugal map I want to add and was advised to copy the contents of the folder into the maps folder...but there are duplicate file names and I didn't copy those accross... rightly or wrongly? as they were much much smaller in file size. When I went to change maps the portugal option was not there?

I'm leaving to go away tomorrow, so would really appreciate if someone could help me...

I have 2 versions of the portugal map... both tom tom 5 mobile & navigation

This probably isn't going to help now but the V5.2 upgrade claims to sort the problem of loading additional maps onto a P910.

I bought some navigator v2 (for mobile PC PDAs) maps of Europe for my TT5 mobile which didn't load. I managed to get them for a cheap price and it was worth a try (they are real software with an activation code, not 'backup' copies) but I was about to sell them again and but TT5 mobile Europe maps. I'll try the upgrade once I get my P910 back (see other thread!) and try these maps again.

Anyone know for certain that Navigator maps will not work on TT5 Mobile?
