Hello all, i have followed the guide to a "T" but get the following error message "Could not create remote file Storage Card\Great-Britan-Map\AA_walks_berks.ov2. Do you want to continue?"
It does this for all of the updates. I think it may have something to do with the location? I'm using a Mio168. Any one out there had similar problems or no how to fix it?
Regards Pete |

I am getting problems with downloading POIs to my Acer N35 using Destinator 3 s/w. I get the error message "Could not create remote file ..." as in the guide. I get this for every file that i try to download. My Activesync connection is working, my SD card has 50Mb free. Version of Activesync is 3.7.1. You say use 3.7 or earlier. Will this cure my problem? Where do I get an earlier version?

POI-Sync is not yet supported for the subscription camera database. _________________ Darren Griffin |

This is now way out of date. Version 4.5.1 of POIEdit is has been available for some time and it works a treat at managing and updating the POIs. The details in this review are now very old. |

POIEDIT No longer exists, it is now My poi Manager and appears to be totally different to the former PoiEdit.
it is here http://www.poiedit.com/
Apoligies it appears it does still exist as v2007.2, missed it before, but just under My poi Manager on above site. _________________ Moto G5s Plus, Sygic 17.4.8 |

Yes, POI Edit certainly still exists, but it is now very hard to spot because of all the irritating adverts for the POI Manager program.
I once contacted the site owner to mention how good POI Edit was and how it was a shame it was hard to find now, and got a very rude reply saying that's how he wanted it.
A better link for POI Edit is http://www.poiedit.com/downloads.htm. You still get another advert at the top, but at least there are direct links for POI Edit underneath it. _________________ "Settling in nicely" ;-) |
