TT5 not picking up satelites

The settings as desribed in the original post are correct for the MIO 168, there is little or no point in trying any other settings.

I know it might sound a bit like stating the obvious, but if it isn't working with these settings, you either have a hardware fault, or there is a problem with the installation.

I would recomend that you save whatever you need to (ie copy it to the PC), and start from scratch; and when I say from scratch I mean a hard reset using the switch on the back, not the button on the side above the earphone socket.

If you can (ie not a SD card with TomTom pre-installed) I would also recommend that you re-format the SD card too, but remember that it should be formatted as FAT (not FAT32 or NTFS), then you will be in a position to do a clean installation.

Hopefully, everything will work, and you can then re-install any other software you may have, checking that it is still working after each and every new program is loaded - it could just be a software conflict.
