Hi

I contacted Garmin and specifically asked how accurate the mph readout on the i3 was and was told that it was more accurate than the speedo on the car.

Uh huh. They might as well say "it's more accurate than an inaccurate thing". Laughing

Have a look here http://www.garmin.com/products/spi3/spec.html and it says

GPS Accuracy:

Position: <15 meters (49 feet), 95% typical
Velocity: 0.05 meter/sec steady state

just sent the nuvi back today so could try it with the i3. i'll let you know by the weekend ;)
