Activation code problems

Hi

I just downloaded a city map (las palmas de gran canaria) from the tomo tom go website.

I followed the instructions but when i have to input the activation code, it says is the wrong one!!!!!???

I have tried many times and im sure im puting the right one.

I actually have the Great Britain map (i live in England) but i thought i could buy the city map from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria without having the spanish map. Would this be the problem?????

Also i have got the latest update 5.420

Sorry if this is obvious, but you're not trying to put in the product code are you?

You need to input both the product code of the map and the device code of your TomTom into http://www.ttcode.com/ to get the activation code.

Yes i have done that.

Its in the final stage when i have to put the activation code in the tom tom go when the error message comes up

It sounds like you'll have to email TT and get them to send you a Product Code that works.

And you are using the Las palmas activation code? NOT the GB activation code?[/quote]
