so, I thought that I had better ask for advice from the PGPSW collective.

Last year, I bought a Mio168 and TT3. I only used TT3 for about 4 weeks before I got the upgrade package for TT5. I have since installed the further patches 5.1 & 5.21

I have just got an Ipaq 2210 (I'm selling my Mio), and I naturally want my Ipaq running the same applications as I was with the Mio.

Do I have to start completely from scratch and install TT3 - TT5 - 5.1 - 5.21, and then all my other applications such as PoiCapture, OSGB Converter etc

If this is what I have to do, then will my original Product / Activation Codes still work. I don't want to be left in the situation of not being able to activate and run the programmes

Then, can I simply install the original SD card (complete with all the maps, poi's, voices etc) into the Ipaq and will that work OK

In a simplistic world, can I restore my Sprite backup from my Mio onto the Ipaq

I don't suppose anything is that simple, but I'm looking for the easiest, hassle free method to successfully have my Ipaq up and running.

Thanks for your help

Baz

Hi Bazzer
You will certainly be unable to install TT3 on your new 2210. When you installed your TT5 upgrade the activation code for TT3 died and went to the big Tom Tom warehouse in the sky.

So, you have to install the TT5 disk onto your new Ipaq. I’m not sure how you go about installing onto another PDA but I have seen the information on this forum in the past and I have no doubt someone will post you a reply before the day is out.

By the way, I think that the Sprite Backup will only restore to the same PDA where the backup originally came from. Good Luck.
