Sony map version No.

I do know that the maps that were installed in my NAV U50T are out of date because the maps that I used with my Sony Clie were Q2/2005 ( over six months ago) and it had some new by-passes which NAV U50T doesn't have.
Now the question, how do I find out the map version so that when I upgrade the maps ( if they release them ) I can get the latest. Also the full European maps as sold in AR**S, does anybody now what version these are or someone with a U70T can tell me.

Well I have a U70T, but I'm jiggered if I can work out how to find the map version! Be glad to tell you if I knew how - any ideas?

Dippy m8 I found out the map date. Use windows CE explorer there is a test mode prog which gives general info,my British_isles MIKA map gives a date of 22/11/2005.

Mine gives the same as yours for the date -Europe_B_Mika.map dated 22/11/2005

Seems pretty recent to me! But it made me do a hard reset afterwards! That blew my desktop shortcuts etc. Bah!
