Hi there!

This is a chance to get something fixed!

As stated before, I Have a ICN520 Premium which I have had no trouble with, but have noticed something not quite right. I have written and installed a custom csv file with a list of personal POI's.
All BMPs show up in exactly the right places! (OK So Far), "but" and how I hate that word, when I try to navigate to certain POI's it will position me over another POI in the list! This does not occur on all of them but only on various POI,s in the file!

Note! It would seem that all the NAVMAN Pre-Installed POI Files are able to navigate me to the correct destinations (I haven't tried them all).

I contacted Navman Tec Support (Very Helpfull!) and they allowed me to send them one of my custom POI files for uploading and testing which is exactly what I did..............

The result was! No its not you and its not me and its not incompetenece!

It is definately the Navman!

I have just contacted Navman Tech support again and they have said that this is a problem which they did not know about.....

The problem has been passed on to their software development department........

It would appear to be something to do with the software and the search critieria it uses to search for and navigate to custom POI's

As I was told by tech support that a service pack will be available soon for the ICN520, if enough people point out this problem then maybe a fix will be included........

Other than that, we seem to have bought something that don't do what it says on the box!

When you find this problem! and it is there! Just let them know!

All the best

Nice one! Good to hear that you're being taken seriously too. If only I could get a reply about my complaint regarding the way the 510/520 approaches roundabouts. Still no word from NZ head office.
