Hi all
Recently bought a new setup. I bought ipaq 2190 which has WM2005 and a Holux 236 BT GPS.
Is it possible for me to automatically launch my bluetooth connection when I start TT5? I have searched everywhere but can't seem to find anything.
Cheers
Paul

I use an XDA and as soon as TT5 is switched on the BT starts up. Also switches off when TT5 is closed down as long as a headset is not present.

Not running WM2005 here, but on my Dell Axim x30, TTN5 activates the bluetooth connection of the PDA automatically.

You still have to turn on the BT receiver manually though, because unless the TT Mk2 is either moving or paired to a device running TT5, it will turn itself off.

I am using WM2003, but I should imagine the same applies to 2005. I use a Holux GPSlim bluetooth receiver, and have paired it with my HP2210 PDA. I find the most reliable procedure is to switch on the GPS receicer and PDA and wait until the GPS receiver has a fix (shown by a flashing red indicator). Only then do I open TT5, and it usually locks on to the BT signal within a couple of seconds. Very rarely it fails to do so without help, then I do a soft reset, start the PDA, go to bluetooth manager, tap and hold on the paired GPS device and then select connect. Then opening TT5 works. I only have to follow this latter procedure about one in ten times, usually the connection takes place without help

Thanks Robin, I'll give this way a try. Having a few teething problems at the moment. Report back tomorrow
