view postcode that are already stored in favourite

the other day, my friend wanted to store one of my favourate in her tomtom, i was not able to find the postcode within favourite, how is it possible that i can view the postcode.....if not, can i back up the file that stores the favourite? where can i find this file? hehehe....thanks...

When you put a location into Favourites with Add Favourite, you have the option of adding Text as an easy way to remember it.

If you want to give a location for someone to use, the easiest way is to create a POI Category and add the location under Add as POI (either in Manage POI or in Browse Map).

This can then be transferred to your PC. Send to a friend, to put on their PC, for transfer to there Device as a new POI Category.

The easiest way to copy your favourite to another PDA is to save your favourite destination as an Itinerary destination. If you then go to your PDA and open File Explorer you will see the Itinerary directory (itn) click on that and you will see the destination that you saved. Its then easy to copy when you next connect to your computer.
