Tomtom 2d size

I used to use the 3d option in tomtom but now use the 2d as it shows more of the map and you can see the turns/route better from above on my hx4700.

I want to have it zoom in as it is a little small on this screen, it zooms in when i come to an island etc but i would like to set a zoom size all the time.

If i set a zoom from the pda when it comes to a turn or after a certain time it zooms back out again.

Is there a way to set a zoom size and have it stay at that size?
I tried taking the vga aware thing off as mentioned in another post but it looked terrible.

Any help appreciated

no the zoom is set by the tomtom application but you could do a reg edit if you feel confident to do it to force qvga rather than having a vga screen
