|
|
A techie question here for those of a like mind.
I downloaded VIFTOOL yesterday that allows you to "unzip" a CSV file. The result? Fifty-odd OGG files which you SHOULD be able to re-record and zip back up to give you your own voice on your TomTom.
Why? Because a) I'm sad and b) it's possible!
Or is it?! Has anybody successfully messed around with this and got it working? If so could they post an idiot's guide as to how to do it. No matter what software I downloaded I couldn't get the existing files (OGG format) to play. This would be necessary as I need to record the same script as the provided voices.
I've seen a website which makes the CSV files for you at a cost but hey, this is the 21st Century and we should be able to record them ourselves!
Thanks very much in advance.

Let me know if you get this to work. I think that would be really fun to play around with. If you can do it on the 300, you should be able to do it on the 700, right? |

FANTASTIC! Thank you so much. Graeme's guide is idiot-proof and I look forward to experimenting with this tomorrow.

Thanks, that's great. I can't wait to share this with some of my friends. They will definitely won't to try this out. I really do enjoy finding all these neat things the GO devices are capable of. |
