If the stickys & the annoucements were highlighted in a different colour, say red which would make them stand out more, they might start to read them. At the moment they tend to blend in with all the other posts. Newbies might not know what the icons really mean next to the stickys etc.

isn't it about time that the i3 had its own forum?

when you look at the number of visits and postings compared with other forums it really is a popular read.

after all, other devices have their own. lets be proud of the little "BUDGET DEVICE"

once up and running on its own merit the first sticky would highlight the forums rules ie "IMPORTANT-READ THIS FIRST", the second containing the faq's, links etc

come on the fanatics and experts, one for all and the rest will follow Out of here .

May not be popular with some but I agree, I read other parts of this forum for other devices, I yearn to learn, but some may only want to know about this wonderful little box

we chose this box because of what it had to offer.
a few have made it better and in some cases a far better option than items costing 3x its sale price.
we know its good and bad points and some are in regular contact with garmin pushing for the ultimate cost for value sat nav.
these points in themselves are surely enough to make it worthy of its own forum or are we to sit back and always be looked at as the poor persons alternative.

Hi there,

Another newbie here-been browsing for a couple of weeks, good forum.

Just posting to agree with Matb - a separate forum for the i3 would make it
easier for people to concentrate on a specific model.

Plucking up courage to have a go at updating the POIs shortly.

Regards

I agree it would be good to have a separate forum for the i3.

I enjoy browsing around some of the others, but it would be nice to make the i3 forum the first point of call to check for relevant posts, and nose around at the others when I have time to spare.
