having loaded up livewire and looked at the traffic component i am assuming the following
1. livewire doesn't interface to gps (therefore doesn't know where you are)
2. livewire information is not used in Copilot (except the traffic popup alert)
is this correct? |

naquada,
I don't know the answer to this but you've posted it in the wrong forum. I suggest you try again under the "CoPilot Live - Pocket PC 4" forum.

It sounds as if you have the same version of co Pilot as me, which is the Teamwarrior version (3.5). I have used the traffic alert from AA Roadwatch and it works well, it does take into account the route you are travelling and will divert your route accordingly. I used it during the first month when subscription was free and vodafone weren't charging for GPRS downloads. Subscription charges from AA Roadwatch are £8.50 per month as far as I can recall and the cost of data downloaded via GPRS would be extra (check phone network service provider tarrifs). According to Teamwarrior the data download size is quite small, so shouldn't run up large mobile bills. |
