Hello,

I received a TT Wireless GPS MkII as a gift. I have a Treo 650 (GSM - Rogers Wireless in Canada).

The problem I am having relates to simply turning on the MkII. When I activiate the Navigator software on the Treo and press the button on the MkII, nothing happens. No lights come on the MkII and the software says "No GPS device!"

It seems to be quite random. Sometimes it works, but for the most part it does not turn on. I've tried turning the bluetooth on and off on the Treo, but that seems to do nothing. The mkII is charged (or should be since the amber led has turns off after being plugged in for some time)

Any suggestions?

Benjamin

hold the button on the MKII until the light starts flashing, then release.

Hi,

I have held it down for well over a minute and still nothing happens.

I'm starting to suspect a hardware defect. The unit will sometimes turn on with a simple press of the button for no more than a second (as the manual states it should turn on), and other times, absolutely nothing.

If there are any other suggestions, I'm open to them - when the unit is working, it's fantastic.

get it to turn on and let the battery die totally then charge up sort of a factory reset see if that does anything
