hi, basically i want to purchase the garmin I3 but cant find any info anywhere as to if you can attach a earphone piece to it. i wish to use it on my motorbike and dont fancy paying the overinflated prices for the motorbike specific 1's.
any info or links appreciated. cheers |

No facility exists for this to be done , short of opening up the unit and soldering some wires on to the speaker and drilling/fitting a female earphone connection nothing can be done.
I can't remember any posts on the forum from anyone carrying out this modification go on prove me wrong |

Aitch,
spot on hopefully the original poster can make his mind up armed with this information only downside with the drill/solder approach is that the guarantee has gone out of the window. |
