--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have a HP2110 with Tom Tom 5 installed. Recently I purchased a Bluetooth receiver and although I have had it working fine after i ran the battery down flat on my HP I re-charged/synced everything I then had to restore all the settings.
I can connect to the bluetooth device and it shows that it is connected in the bluetooth manager.
However when trying to use the Tom Tom software it just says waiting for valid gps signal. I have checked the settings in the Tom Tom software also.
please help as it is driving me mad!!!
My GPS is a Fuzion X50. like I have said it connects fine and the red light flashes to show it has picked up the satelites etc -it just wont work with the Tom Tom software

Have you subscribed to the serial port of the GPS unit ? if so
How long have you allowed it to respond, give it a good 20 min in clear line of sight to the sky and see if it works, this also assumes you have entered the correct settings for the GPS unit and method of connection, try "Other Cabled NMEA Devices" then set the Baud speed to that your GPS manual states and finally select the out going bluetooth port COMx (where x is specific to your device) - Mike
