More 6010 failures.

I bought a 6010 in February. This was dead-on-arrival, so PDAMODS exchanged it and the new one worked until recently, when I got what now looks like a dead-battery error. However, back to PDAMODS and they replaced it again (by return post!). This latest one worked for about 2 hours then gave up the ghost, with no LED, flashing or otherwise. I've just contacted the suppliers support desk again, so I'll let you know what happens. However, it looks like I chose the right retailer.

I'm just glad I didn't buy through e-bay.

I've gone through a few of them now also, my 3rd one is now over 12 months old when it failed, so I haven't bothered to replace it.
I can't beleive the design is so flawed that the internal battery barely lasts a year / non-rechargeable or not easily replaced, and when it dies caused the unit to no longer transmit data..
I ended up buying a bluetooth unit, and will get round to removing the 6010 to unsolder the battery at some point....
