Medion MDPNA 175

hi all, ive just got rid of an old pna for the above unit, its got mn5.0 on it and i need to upgrade to 5.1 to get poi warner to work, ive gone on to navigon site and it asks for a device id, how/where do i find this? it looks like a big number but i cant find any that look like theyd be right??

Yup, I am having the same problem. None of the number I can find seem to fit.

I have hooked the PDA to my PC and checked all of the files in the PDA for some clues but to no avail.

The Navigon site is giving nothing away either.

ive taken mine back and gone mad and bought the Tomtom 700 no more hassles! I'd spoken to navigon and they said it was down to Medion. When i spoke to Medion they said they hadnt got a map upgrade!? So looks like unless you take it back you're stuck Odie

Hi.
I'm not sure about Memory Map but according to GPSPassion.com, other software such as OziCE will work. I guess it just depends on wether Memory Map will work on a WinCE device and wether you could reconfigure the screen to fit the landscape screen of the PNA 175. If you already have the software, nothing to stop you trying, if you don't, it might be expensive to try.
