Mitac Mio 168 + 2Gb SD Card

Hi

I thought I'd just help some of you who are looking to get a larger SD card for your Mio 168 (or clones). I spent ages trying to find out if a fast 2 Gb card would work on my Mio, in the end I took a chance.....

I have just purchased a 2Gb RiDATA 150x SD card and it works on my Mio perfectly after an initial format. Full European Sat Nav Maps are now a possibility!

Would recommend getting a USB 2.0 card reader......

It's nice to see someone paying out for a 2gb card & test it on the 168 so others can now buy in confidence knowing it will work.

What would you have done if it didn't work !

I'd have had a bigger memory card for my digital camera!!!!!!
