Just got my TT1 late this afternoon and was pretty amazed that it locks on while I sit in my living room (near a window with curtains drawn).

Anyway, I have a question. When I set a destination and the route is calculated, is there a way to jump to the destination end of the journey to be able to check it's where I think it is (i.e. I'm going to the right place)?

A demo journey takes too long (and doesn't go all the way on a long journey). I'm sure there must be a quick way to do it but can't see what it might be.

Can anyone help?

That's helpful, thanks.

Is it possible to scroll forward and back down the route from that point?

Another handy tip - thanks.

A different question...

Can anyone recommend a good, cheap bag/container to keep the TT1 in when not in use? I see TomTom have one but it seems expensive. Anything else that will protect the screen when not in use?

I'll look for a bag today.

In the meantime, this mornings question is...

How do I delete a 'favourite'?

I did get a bag this morning when I was in ASDA. It's a little 'hama' bag for a digital camera and cost about £6

Not as good as the TomTom one (which looks to be pretty snug) but then again this one is cheaper and gets the job done.

Any half decent camera shop will have a good variety of padded bags, I bought mine from Jessops for my "GO" about ten quid. Take your sat-nav with you to get one that fits well.

I got a suede-effect Strand Medium Camera Bag from my local Tesco (Shirley, Solihull). They had loads but I don't know if they're in all Tescos because it's marked as a discontinued item. Just £1.36. Over 3 trips, I've now bought 8 of them for various friends and colleagues who've just bought TomTom ONEs.

Regards,
Mark.
