Hello
I currently have an old ish GPS mouse receiver for my laptop.
I was in London yesterday and started to lose satellite's due I think to the high buildings.
A this is an old ish (2-3 years) receiver would it pay me now to go for a newer one. Also I was told there is another type of receiver out now "SiRF ". Would that improve my reception, in such situations, and the start up (warm up) times.
Thanks |

Yeah if your get the SiRF STAR III based GPS you should get a better signal and improved TTFF, look at the Holux 213 for cabled or somthing like the Holux 236, Globalstat 338 or TomTom BT MK2 _________________ Regards

I am looking to upgrade my GPS Mouse.
All the stuff I seem to be reading relates to PDA's I use a laptop with Navigator 4.3 from Directions.
I have noticed this Globalsat BR-355 Sirf Star III. Is this going to work with my setup?, or are there better options?
Cheers
