The G3 looks a much tidier unit than the existing ones available. Would be very interested to know when this will be released. Could it perhaps explain the "offer" currently available for the existing powered swivel mount (clearing stocks?).

I can't think that the G3 will have a USB port. It may have a port that looks USB like - but no iPAQ has USB host capabilities.

So does anyone know when this sort of thing might be released. I'm looking at a mount at the moment for my soon to be aquired IPaq Bluetooth GPS setup and I'm stuck deciding between the brodit powered mount and the Siedo universal mount. Waiting for a nice looking one like the G3 (pictured) is an option but how long might I have to wait?

That G3 looks very nice. I'd definitely get that.

Even now I don't think it's available yet?
