I have a dilema......
Currently I am evaluating a Tom Tom One which I got for the fantastic price of £250 with a return if not satisfied promise.
The One is great with the usual niggles about inaccurate maps. Also I am not convinced about the traffic feature particularly as you have to pay a subscription and pay for the GPRS packets on the mobile.
However, my biggest dilema is whether to keep it or not. £250 is a lot of money for just a GPS system. For maybe another £100 or so, I could get a mid range PDA.
The PDA would need to have bluetooth, wi-fi (could be extra card), run all the usual software with Pocket Windows 2003 SE. I would also like a neat car mount etc.
So can anyone advise if the PDA version of Tom Tom is as good as the One please?
Also if you have any suggestions for PDA kit that would also be great.

Trouble is you'll find the same inaccurate maps on pretty much all sat nav products. It's mostly a case up put up with that or just don't have a sat nav I'm afraid! As for the traffic feature, I'm with you, it's not worth the money, the data it gives you isn't especially useful day to day. Although if you did a lot of motorway miles it may be.

Yes, you could but remember when buying from new you could get the PDA for that but you would also have to buy the sat nav GPS and software on top of that.

PDA is the best sat nav solution if you have a use for a PDA. In my case I was given a PDA as a prize didn't have a use for it then, don't now!

Absolutely. It's pretty much identical, except on a PDA version you can rotate the screen, that's about the only difference!

Dare I say the kit I'm currently selling for bids over £250?!
