It's unclear from your post whether this is the case or not - but you can't load Navigator 1 maps in Navigator 2. You will need to load Navigator 1 to use Navigator 1 maps. One way around this would be to put both programs' CAB files on a storage card and set them to read only. You can then install either program by tapping on the file in a file explorer (including the built in one).
Setting the CAB file as read only is important - if you don't, Pocket PC will delete it after the installation has finished.
I don't know whether voice files are interchangeable between Navigator 1 and Navigator 2. The GPS driver is interchangeable.
If you have Navigator 2 France, I think you need to activate it as well as Navigator 2 UK - though I'll leave the finer points of foreign map activation on Navigator 2 to others - I only have and use Navigator 2 UK.

I've only been playing with my TTNav2 kit for three or four days, but I've been getting the same error message (Cannot determine location of data. Please reinstall data and/or application). Sometimes when switching maps, sometimes when it's calculating a route.
When I've then gone into File Explorer, the storage device is nowhere to be seen. A number of suggestions:
1. Before trying to change cards, make sure TTNav2 isn't running [>Settings >System >Memory >Running Programs] and stop it if it is.
2. If you get the error, check to see whether your tosh e350 sees the storage card in File Explorer.
3. If it doesn't recognise the card, take the card out, put it back, and try again.
4. If it still doesn't work, do a soft reset and try again.
5. Let us know how you get on.
