TomTom mobile maps

Hello, Im a newbie with some questions

In the past I have used a tomtom Go 500 and a blue media sat nav. I was impressed with the tomtom so Installed tomtom on my nokia 7610. At 1st i was very pleased with it. Ive not been far but ive tried it round town and found that the map is SO out of date, Some of the roads dont exist any more and havnt for about 8 years but they are still on the tomtom mobile map. Ive tried V390 and V562 yet the maps seem the same. Can any one shed any light on this????

are you saying your GO maps were different? They should have the same problems, and you may want to report them to TeleAtlas (the link is in my signature)

Im not sure, I never used th GO around where I live, I just used it for work. Im just concerned that the map is so out of date. If its like this where I live, What happens when I have to go out on a job 100's of miles away.
