Interfacing Magellan GPS with Marine Radio

I am trying to interface my Magellan Platinum with my Marine Radio in order to report my GPS provided position when sending an automatic emergency messaage. I have the Magellan external power and data cable which I use to interface my GPS to my laptop. I want to add a a male plug to my Marine Radio that will accept this cable to input the GPS data to my Radio. I need to know the pin out wiring for the Magellan female plug on the cable. I think that there are only two wires a ground and the data wire. Can some one furnish me with this info and confirm that I am on the right track for this interface? Would sure appreciate any help.
