Hello

I've just got a new Tom Tom 500. I've noticed that when driving or viewing the demo I see momentary freezes in the picture especially if instructions are being spoken at the same time.

Is this normal/expected?

Thanks, Mark

Are you using traffic at the same time?

It can slow things down a bit when it's downloading the traffic information.

Nope - just the tom Tom on it's own. The only extras loaded are the gps speed camera database and the standard free voices...

Out of interest what Size SD Card is provided as standard with the 500. With the 300 I was getting freezes and lockups - particularly after upgrading the card. This was cured when I moved to a 256MB card. The 128MB provided as standard for the 300 is a little close for comfort.

I think it's 256MB to allow for the 200+ of the Plus Map.
