It won't fit!!!

I have tried installing TomTom 5 onto the 256Mb memory card in my Mitac Mio 168, the program installs and runs fine (I have no maps loaded at this point) When I copy the Great Britain map to the memory card It runs out of space.
What am I doing wrong?
Should I install TomTom on the PDA's memory and leave more room on the SD card for the map?

It should easily fit into 256, have you got other stuff on there already?

No, I wiped the card clean before I started and hard reset the PDA.

I'm not sure how much space the app consumes if installed on a memory card (the GP Map is a little over 100MB).

You could either remove some of the unneccessary voices or install to main memory and install just the map to the storage card.

My GB Plus map folder is 198Mb

Ah Plus Map, indeed that is much larger. Install the application to main memory and only the map to storage card then.

which folder shall I use on the pda's main memory?
Will It slow down other applications?
It only has 32Mb Ram.
