Mobile 5 and Navigator 5 map!?!?

Hi,

Just wondering if it is possible to use the TomTom Navigator 5 maps in TomTom mobile 5?? As the australian map is available for Navigator and not for mobile this seems to be the only way to be able to get it, Would it work??

I think I can now answer this myself, as last night I got hold of a Navigator 5 Australia map that I think might even have come from a TomTom GO unit as there currently is no australia map for Navigator as far as I know... I loaded it onto the mobile 5 for test purposes obviously and it run like a dream.... no problems whatsoever.... this might be good news for people who have been looking to use TomTom mobile 5 in Australia, this means that TomTom must just be holding back on delivering mobile 5 to Australians as it wouldn't take them any work whatsoever to release it (apparently)....!?!?

Each map has to be activated seperatly,

How did you manage to activate it, without paying? Or did you pay when it activated?

Maps on TomTom 5 are cross compatable, if they're activated,
