G'day all
I have posted this in the beginners lounge but had no luck
Having installed the GB map on a 256 mb SD card on tom tom 5.1 in my ipaq 2210 which works great . I then thought that I would install another "map only" on another 256 spare SD card which I had, but when I changed cards the screen came up and said no maps found , so my question is Guys do all the maps have to be on one card , or is there a special way of installing them on a separate card with out having to install the complete T/T prog.or do I have to purchase a new 512 mb card so that I can get more than one map on. If I do then I have wasted 256 mb cards
Many thanks for your time
G..

Did you install tt to the default directory, or possibly load it onto the sd card, the application needs to be on the device, then you can load the other maps onto different cards - mike

Many thanks Mike for your prompt reply, when I initially installed T/T from the CD to the SD card I browsed to my SD card on on the 2210 fired of the exe file and bingo every thing worked ok, which I assume is the only way to do it .so I thought the installation would be ok for just opening up the folder containg the req. map on the CD and dragging the contents into the new SD card via active sync.or am I not doing it correctly .
Thanks for your time
G..
