does anybody know where i can get elevation software for my ttg300, i find it quite wierd going allong taking a glance at the screen and not being able to tell on screen if i am going up or down (before you say, i know, i should look out the window, but i really wouldn't mind TT telling me, does the software even exist? i have tralled the net looking but have just come up with dead ends.

there is no guarantee that the altitude information from the GO is correct. Apart from that - buy the GO SDK and write your own program... Or get a PNA that uses Navigon software - they show the ascend/descend rate.
