Dissapointing Haicom 405

Hi All

I recently bought this GPS unit to replace my Fortuna SirfII unit. Have to say I'm disappointed. The delay seems longer than the Fortuna, I lose the signal going under a bridge and the reception seems poorer in the city. I don't see any evidence of improved accuracy from WAAS.

I looked on the haicom web site to see how to check my firmware version, enable/disable WAAS etc. and the 405 BT III is not even listed as a product.

Bottom line, I'd look elsewhere.

Anyone else had similar experiences?
