hyperlink from HTML into mapping SW?

Hello,

I am somewhat new to both GPS and to the PocketPC I'm using it with - so hopefully this is an easy one.

I have both Pocket Streets (from Streets & Trips 2005) and the HP iPAQ Navigation System (BT-308 and supplied SW). No problems exporting and viewing maps from S&T, and no problems getting somewhere within the iPAQ software.

Additionally I am creating a set of HTML pages that will live on the PPC and describe a few locations that my customer is interested in. My plan was for each of the HTML pages to have a "Take me there" link, which would open up the mapping SW (don't care which one), and provide driving directions to the location.

Any ideas? It seems as though both ends of this (the HTML and, separately, the directions) work just fine - but there's no way to link the two.

You can do this with mapping/navigation software that has SDKs available - like TomTom, Destinator, or Navigon.

I don't think that Pocket Streets supports the MapPoint object model but hey - you could try.
