Proximity Alerts

Hi
This subject appears to been touched upon in various other posts, but Id thought id start as a new topic.

I have downloaded some POIs and receive proximity alerts for the speed cameras only. Could someone kindly let me know if I should receive alerts for red-light cameras as well, and is there something I can do to get proximity alerts for lets say ASDA or TESCO?

if you had read the previous posts you will have been aware that by adding @0 (@ being the alert and 0 being the mph you want to be alerted at) after the poi name in excel ,the poi chosen will have an alert.......

I could be wrong (and often am), but I think that if you use POI Loader in 'Manual' rather than 'Express' mode, you're given he option to add proximity alerts to the POI's you're uploading.

thanks hyperion ..you are correct mate ..in manual mode you can set the speed (mph) for the alerts to come on.....didnt know that.

Fair point MaFt - My main concern was that I wasn't getting red light camera alerts - I don't think ill be programming alerts for everything, just nice to know how to add or remove them.

Now I have the i3 I need to keep reminding myself I have a pair of eyes as well!!!!!

also nice that the lady says "in 0.2 miles turn left", not "damn, it was that one!".

Also, she only says "recaculating" when you miss a turn - you don't get a slap...
