Map Installation

UPS have just returned my ipaq 4700 after 2 weeks and i can now install tomtom 5 (Upgrade that ive had for 10 days)Installed the application to the ipaq fine but how do i add the maps ? Also before i used to install it to ipaq and maps to SD card.When i put Maps CD in its says not enough free memory in temp.I should add ive not been able to register online yet ,keeps saying server down at tomtoms end,does this need to be done first before adding a map ! please help i go on holiday tommorrow !

This is a known inexcusable problem with TomTom's installer program which has been noted on these forums before. To fix it select "Run..." from your windows "Start" menu and in the box type %temp%. Press OK and an explorer window should pop up containing a tomtom setup.exe file. Delete that setup file and then run setup from the CD again. It should work!
