TT5 & Cable GPS

I have an Ipaq 4150 and TT5 and a Cabled GPS recevier.

What I find is that I can set a route, and TT5/GPS can not keep up with the journey. If I turn right at a junction TT5 seems to struggle to accept that I am not on a different road. I can travel almost 100m before the map rotates.

Unfortunately I've changed two things at the same time and now don't know which is the cause of the problem. Under v3 I had a BT GPS and it worked fine. Then I upgraded to V5 and had my car broken into and the BT GPS receiver nicked!

I've got the map on a 40x SD card so I'm assuming that that is fast enough to provide the map data. The GPS serial speed is only 4800 though.

Any suggestions as to why the perceived location is out?
