TOMTOM PERM DOCKING KIT AUDIO PROBLEM

Considering buying the docking kit to go with my 700 but having read through this set of posts begun to have second thoughts. realise it is a while since this post was last opened but have the issues been resolved to everyones satisfaction with regard to Phone Audio and Lights problems. loathed to spend 150+ to be no further forward

The upgrade to v5.440 is available on the TOTOM site. I have just installed it and in my BMW with the permanent docking kit the phone now mutes the radio and routes the call through the car speakers.

Also I have installed a Nokia microphone insted of the TomTom one which seems to have improved the speech pick up. The standard Nokia plug is smaller so I had to cut it off and solder on the plug from the TomTom mike from which I chopped off the last 6 inches.
