Bluetooth GPS

Just a quick question I currently have a SYSONCHIP CF GPS receiver, I would like to upgrade to a BT one. Which is the best BT receiver to get the TomTom one or should I get some other make.

I've got a Sysonchip Blue mini BT receiver which works great with TT5.
It's also tiny and gets a fix very quickly.
Not sure if this is the best one although from what I've read it's regarded to be quite good.

I'm very happy with the GlobalSat BT-338. It works well with TomTom Navigator 5 on both 2210 and 4700 iPAQs.

Garmin's GPS 10 is also an excellent Bluetooth GPS receiver. Very fast sat acquisition time.

I am in a position to try many different GPS receivers and nothing comes close to rivalling the BT338. Its streets ahead of the pack. It gets your position from a cold start very quickly and doesn’t loose it, even in so called urban canyons. I brought it a few weeks ago (soon after it came on the market) and it was selling for about £160 in the UK (I suppose its cheaper now). However, I went online to ebay and purchased a new one from Taiwan for £85 including p&p and have never looked back. Brilliant.

I look around yesterday and decide that the BT338 was the best one, so I bought one for about £100.00.

:D Don't know about the BT338 but have you considered the Royaltek RBT2001? Tests at www.gpsandco.com (unfortunately in French) does a direct comparison with BT338 and the Royaltek scores particularly well in comparison and especially in the entrance to an underground carpark.
I've had the Royaltek a couple of weeks now and I am astonished at how good it is. I have not yet found anywhere yet it will not get a fix - including in a narrowboat with a steel roof! Battey life has been 71/2 hours plus between charges.
