Which version did you download? there are 2 versions.
Pocket PC Version 2 for Pocket PC 2002 and Windows Mobile 2003. File size = 13.5 MB.
Pocket PC 2002 for Arm X-Scale. File size 8.4 MB.
The one I installed and use is the Arm X-Scale version.

My iPAQ 6315 has a built-in Clearvue PDF reader...

So has my XDA II, but I find that Clearvue when it loads a .pdf file, you have to scroll across to read all the text, were as Abode displays the text without having to scroll across the screen.

Execute the downloaded file on the PC with the PDA connected via Activesync. That should then install the reader onto your PDA.
