Tomtom mobile 5, SPV c500 and BT 338

Hi All,

Does anyone have any experience using the SPV C500 with Tomtom Mobile 5 and the Globalsat BT 338 receiver. I hear this is a really good receiver and was wondering if it works with Tomtom Mobile 5 and if there are any problems? Does the SPV need any rom updates before it can be used?

I am currently using the exact setup you describe. SPV C500, Tomtom Mobile 5 and the Globalsat BT 338 receiver.

I have used this setup with both ROM 4.2.1.1 and the previous version with no problems at all. The receiver provides an excellent fix and battery life is also good. I also have the original TomTom receiver but I prefer the Globalsat.
