Tom Tom 5 ipaq 2210 BC 307 - no signal! Please help

I have just purchased Tom Tom 5 and have used BC 307 on the older version of Tom Tom just fine. However, can't get a signal on the new version. I've tried all baud rates. There is some activity at 2400 and 4800 - but no signal. Please help as I'm leaving to go to Canada this weekend. Many thanks

Have you updated to the latest version of TT5 downloadable from the Tomtom site? My 2210 did the same but the update cured the problem.
