Problems loading TomTom5 Maps

I have a iPAQ 3950. I ahve loaded Version 5 to relpace version3, no problem.
However when I try to load maps from disc 1 I get a message "Not enough free space on temporary folder. Cannot run Setup"
I cleaned out, I think, Temp folders on my laptop but to no avail.
I then loaded TT 5 from another computer which has just had its hard drive replaced so has not had time to accumulate Temp files. still no luck, same message.
Any help would be appreciated, at preent I have reloaded TT 3 so i can use my navigation system.
